1. Variety of scrap fabrics for the letters you choose
2. Variety of threads to either match or contrast with your scraps
3. 2 pieces of plain fabric for front, backing (during quilting) and back of cushion, ie, 2 x (21” x 21”)
4. 1 piece of plain fabric for the back of the cushion of 21” x 28”
5. Wadding 23” x 23”

6. ½ metre of Bondaweb
7. Pencil, paper and ruler (small quilting ruler will do)
8. 20” zip
9. Scissors for precision cutting (ie, small/embroidery scissors)
10. Marking tool (chalk, quilter’s pencil, water soluble marker)
11. Walking foot if you have one
12. Sewing machine with at least 5-6 different stitches
13. Zipper foot (most machines have one)
14. Sewing machine manual
15. Spare (empty) bobbins specific to your machine
16. Various notions usually found in your sewing box: • Scissors/rotary cutter • Ruler • Pins • Needle, thimble, pin cushion (if you have one) • Measuring tape • Spare sewing machine needles and bobbins 

Skills learned/used • Using Bondaweb in appliqué • Basic design skills • Machine appliqué • Inserting a zip/adding a hanging sleeve
