
Intermediate class - Learn how to sew a cathedral window panel with Charlotte Pyrah (Liddle)
Monday 4th June 10am - 4pm (half hour lunch break at 12:30)
This class is aimed at intermediate sewers with a little bit of sewing experience under their wing. During the class you'll learn how to construct the cathedral window panel and enjoy seeing the windows appear. The class will focus on perfecting the window panel for the cushion. (You may need to finish constructing the cushion at home but you will be shown options on how to do this).
Materials you'll need to bring with you on the day:
Cushion inner 40 x 30
17 x patterned fabric squares 7 x 7cm (for inside the windows)
8 x buttons (matching or random)
1/2 metre cotton or linen (white, cream or plain colours work best)
Quarter metre strip of cotton or linen (for border panels)
Back piece of fabric 50 x 33cm
Haberdashery items to bring with you: scissors, rotary cutter, pins, hand sewing needles, straight edge, pencil, tape measure, thread etc
Please note that ONLY Aurifil or Guttermann threads are to be used on our machines please
