Introduction to half square triangles - Quilting with Roz on June 6th
Wednesday 6th June 10am - 4pm (half hour lunch break at 12:30)
This class is aimed at beginner quilters. It will focus on cutting, piecing, sandwiching layers together, adding sashing, quilting and adding hand crafted binding with hand stitching on the reverse.
During the class you'll learn how to make a table runner and if there's time coasters and table mats.
Materials you'll need to bring with you on the day or you can buy here at Fabric Mouse on the day with the help of a teacher:
1 metre of wadding
1 metre of main fabric
1 metre contrasting fabric
1 metre of backing fabric
1 metre of cotton to make binding
Haberdashery items to bring with you: scissors, rotary cutters, quilting pins, thread etc
Please note that ONLY Aurifil or Guttermann threads are to be used on our machines please
