Fabric Mouse Thirsk And Fabric Bird

We have had lots of confusion and similarities drawn to the fabric Bird shop in Thirsk “Fabric Bird” there is no connection with our shop except the location.

About 10 years ago we started trading in Thirsk and doing a weekly Market Bringing Moda fabric, pre-cuts, cotton wadding and Janome Sewing Machines to Thirsk for the First time creating a very loyal following that many I’m happy to say still travel up to our new location. We have always had a collection service for repairing sewing Machines and did a weekly collection in the area, unfortunately we had to stop this due to the arrival of our young family, More confusion is based around we advertised we were opening on Millgate back in 2013 as we have purchased a property, but the opportunity in our current location next to the A1 with our own parking became available we shelved the plans and rented the property instead, unfortunately due to a compulsory purchase order on the land at the back of our current building the purchase took almost 3 years so we continued trading from our Darlington sewing machine shop stacked up to the rafters. Apologies for the few customers in Thirsk this did confuse but we are in no way associated with The Fabric Bird.
