Refund and Return Policy for In-Person Sales

At Fabric Mouse, we value our customers and strive to ensure satisfaction with every purchase. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and returns on in-person sales, including purchases made at trade shows.

No Legal Requirement for Return

In-person sales of machines and other products do not carry a legal requirement for return. We encourage customers to carefully consider their purchases to ensure they meet their needs and expectations.

Non-Returnable Items

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned to ensure the quality and integrity of our products. These include:

  • Unsealed Software and Books: Opened software and books cannot be returned due to copyright and hygiene reasons.
  • Cut-to-Order Items: Fabric, ribbons, wadding, and any other items cut to customer specifications are final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Threads: For quality control and hygiene reasons, threads are also non-returnable.

Exclusions from Returns

Certain sales scenarios and products are excluded from our return policy:

  • In-Person Sales at Trade Shows: Purchases made at trade shows are final and are not eligible for return.
  • A-Grade Machines/Demonstration Machines/Pre-loved Machines: These machines are sold as seen and are not eligible for returns.
  • Sale Items: Items purchased on sale are final sales and cannot be returned.
  • Machines, Software, Parts: that have been opened and/or used.

Return Policy for Eligible Items

For items that do not fall under the above exclusions, the following return policy applies:

  1. Return Period: Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided they are in new and unused condition with all original packaging and accessories.

  2. Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

  3. Refund Process: Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

  4. Restocking Fee: A restocking fee may apply to some returns, depending on the condition of the returned item and its packaging.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable -you are responsible for the cost of shipping items back to us.
  • Custom orders and special requests are non-returnable and non-refundable.
