Embroidery Thread

Find embroidery threads from Madeira, Richword, Marathon, Sakura and Brother, including individual spools, colour sets and embroidery bobbin thread.

Choose the right thread for your project

Check the fibre, thread weight and spool length on each product page. Match these to your embroidery design and machine instructions. Specialist effect threads may need a different needle, tension or stitching technique.

Match your colours

Use the brand and shade number when reordering. Colour numbers are specific to each range, and screen colours can vary. For an exact match, compare a physical thread sample or shade card.

Bobbin thread and backing

Choose bobbin thread suitable for your machine. If buying prewound bobbins, check the bobbin size and type as well as the thread weight. Pair your thread with the right embroidery stabiliser for your fabric and design.
