If your item is a Pre-Order

When you buy an item on Pre-Order, the item is not available for immediate shipping and will be shipped in the future, according to the estimated dispatch date outlined on the product page.

As sellers ourselves, we know this is an exciting time. Between placing your order and your items being shipped, we will email you to update you on your order.

We make every effort to ship your order by the expected shipping date; however, we can occasionally experience delays outside of our control.



If your item is on Ready Stock

We typically ask for 1 – 2 business days for our team to pack & ship your full order. However, during promotional holiday weeks, your order will ship within 5-7 business days.

We use DPD, Royal Mail, DHL or any courier integrated with our system to deliver your items to you. Once your order has left our warehouse, standard delivery can take up to seven (7) business days.

Once your order has left our warehouse, you’ll receive an email with the tracking information for you to track the progress of your order through the courier website


Other

Please note, it can sometimes take up to 48 hours for your information to appear in the tracking system. If you are not at the nominated address when delivery occurs, a notification will be left in your mailbox, and your parcel will be held at your local post office for collection.

Please note that you cannot nominate a delivery date or time, and unfortunately, we cannot call you on the day in advance of the delivery is made.

*Be sure to use the correct shipping address, complete with a suite or apartment number if applicable; an incorrect or incomplete address will almost always delay delivery.

All orders will ship from our warehouse in the UK. If your order ships in separate packages, we will send you multiple tracking numbers.

Returns

If you bought the item in person, either in the shop, during an in-home demonstration, or at a trade show, please go to the following link for refund and return information : Refunds & Returns for In-Person Sales

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You have 14 days, from receiving your order, to notify us of your intention to return the item or items and a further 14 days to return it. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

• Goods such as unsealed software
• Books
• Anything cut to order (such as fabric, ribbons, wadding)
• Threads cannot be returned
• A-Grade Machines
• Demonstration Machines
• Pre-loved Machines
• Sale items do not qualify for a return. 

Additional non-returnable items:

• Gift cards
• Downloadable software
• Classes and workshop bookings
• Machine parts
• Instruction Manuals -original and pdf printed

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use, sewing machines that have been opened,
CD, DVD, software that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing packaging or parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 28 days after delivery.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days of receiving your returned item.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at fabricmouseuk@gmail.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at fabricmouseuk@gmail.com and send your item to: Unit 5 Station Road Industrial Estate, Brampton on Swale, Richmond, North Yorkshire DL10 7SN

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
