The Brother Gathering Foot is an amazing instrument perfect for creating frills and pleats with soft and lightweight fabric. You can easily switch your ordinary embroidery foot with this gathering foot. With increased tension, it allows a good amount of gathering by holding a large number of stitches in 2-3 thread tails. The shape of the foot is designed in such a way that it can be placed over the shank securely and the needle fits right above the opening of the foot.
