Using a moderately hot iron, apply the coated side of the mending tape to the fabric. Let it cool before repositioning. Position the patch onto the garment with the shiny side facing down. Apply firm pressure for 40 to 45 seconds. Finish by pressing around the edges. Check the bond once the patch has cooled. If needed, repeat the pressing process.
