I bought this to make an advent calender for my youngest granddaughter for next Christmas. I looked at many on the internet but found that a lot of them required cutting out the pockets and using a zig-zag stitch to attach them to prevent fraying. I do not like the look of these. This panel allows a small turn to hem to attach the pockets neatly. The cotton appears to be a decent quality although I have not made the calender yet. I bought it now so I don't have to rush trying to get one nearer to next Christmas. I look forward to making it for her.
