Wonderful machine and great service
Fabric Mouse was recommended to me by my sewing teacher and it does have an amazing selection of machines. Stuart is very helpful and informative. I already had an idea of budget and machine. Stuart asked what I would be using the machine for and steered me in the right direction. They didn’t have any in stock but Stuart ordered it and it arrived directly from Jane the next morning. As its the machine I use in my sewing classes I was already familiar with it. I’ve been trying different things with it and it has been really great. I am sure that I will enjoy making lots of things with it over the years.

Great machine
Bought this machine to replace an old (30 years approx) Husqvarna Viking that my mum has owned for many years. Our old machine wasn't running that smoothly as the stitching wasn't brilliant especially on the backstitch. When I got my Janome HD2200 setup I was impressed on how neat the stitching was. Even testing out the zigzag stitch and some of the pattern stitches they are so crisp. Even the underside of the stitching looks really good too. It comes with a good selection of feet as well allowing you to do a wide range of jobs. I haven't tested any of these out yet but will be keen to do so when I fine some projects to do with them. The speed is decent as well and the foot switch has a low speed switch too for people less confident. The body itself is metal so robust and strong with some plastic parts on where access and storage is. My only criticism is the led light is just 1 low voltage led so not very bright but their again I use a lamp when sewing anyway so not an issue for me but would make the machine hard to use with out good lighting. Also on another note, delivery was really fast. Ordered it Monday morning and got it Tuesday evening even though I wasn't expecting it till Wednesday.
