The Inspiration Machine
Well I've had this machine for a couple of months now, I've made a quilt, toy bear, bag and lots of Christmas presents. The best bits- ease of use, lighting, space to the right of the needle and easy built in help system. The not so good bits, (but not negative) materials like cashmere and wool don't sew well and are dragged into the bobbin case area, I'll need to add an iron on - wash away fabric to solve this. The needles need to be sharp for the best results when using the decorative stitches. The negative- the weight of the machine. If I had a dedicated place - sewing station, this wouldn't be a negative as it's weight gives great stability. It's worth saving up for. I can't wait to use it again, which is a good sign.
