Please note: Your machine will be with us for 2-3 weeks currently and we will email you when it's ready for collection.
Please drop your machine off anytime between 10am-3.30pm Monday-Friday
If you are posting your machine to us please ensure it is securely packaged, and no insurance will be valid if not in original packaging or if you accept delivery when the box is visibly damaged.
What we need:
- Your bobbin & bobbin case (in machine)
- Your thread if it's an overlocker
- Standard presser foot (embroidery foot if checking embroidery machine)
- Embroidery hoop & Unit if embroidery
- Your order number on your machine/case/additional items
Please leave at home:
- Accessory tray or sleeve arm extension
- Instruction books
- Extra feet or tools
- Quilting tables
- Bags, cases or covers
If your machine is under warranty, please note:
Not covered under manufactures warranty: Bobbin cases, needle threaders, needle plates and any other replaceable items that wear with use, or the timing on machines designed to jump instead of causing damage (if you hit a pin or the wrong fold on a seam that is impenetrable it's bad luck not a fault with the machine -like driving over a pothole in your car) Book a Warranty Repair
Machines must be collected within 2 weeks of service completion, otherwise they will be a weekly storage fee!!!
Disappointed
Dropped my computerised sewing machine off for a service and automatic needle threader to be repaired. At first the shop wasn’t open, after ringing the number the man said he was on his way and wouldn’t be long (11am). I paid £100 and was told he thought the threaders were in stock, it would take 2-3 weeks and I would receive an email when it was ready to be collected. I received an email so went to collect my machine. A woman asked my details and brought a machine out for me. To my horror it wasn’t my machine. The woman replied it has your number on it, I wasn’t here when you brought it in and a couple of other excuses then I’ll have a look for it don’t know what he’s done while I’ve been away. Luckily she found it, it apparently had the same reference number on it!!! I asked if the threader had been replaced, she couldn’t tell me as there was no note on it on her computer and as she again said she wasn’t there when I brought it in. She never apologised but said I could bring it back if it wasn’t (50 mile round trip). When I left she said now I will have to find out who the other machine belongs to. Thankfully my threader had been replaced but don’t think I will be returning after this experience.
Bit disappointed
I left my sewing g machine in for a service and paid £70 up front. Still waiting to pick up machine, told there are so Many machines to service Be prepared to wait weeks for your machine!
PROMPT SERVICE
This is the second year running that I have used Fabric Mouse to service my Brother Innovis V3. I was very impressed that it was ready to pick up a week later all serviced as I use it for work. I will also add that there was a problem with the timing which they fixed and it was all included in the service. Thanks again Fabric Mouse
Excellent service
I found Fabric Mouse staff very helpful and I am very happy with their sewing machine service. They also included searching for and replacing a fiddly part that had broken - and didn't charge me extra! They have a lovely range of haberdashery too - well worth a visit. Val
