Lightweight Sewing Machines for Classes

There is many merits of a lightweight machine for transportation to classes we can investigate the ins and outs of better machines better construction methods and better alloys but we ran a test in our shop and came up with 7kg as the max weight most people wanted in a machine they would take to class. We also added in the Key Feature of a Stop/Start Button (read about it on another page but you need it ;) )

below are all the machine heads that come in under 7kg, remember a 7kg aluminium machine is very strong and if not better than cast iron so weight does not signify quality.
