This is a lovely machine for anyone wanting to make soft furnishings, dresses and quilting. It has an adjustable weight for the presser foot which other makes of a comparable price do not. Built in walking foot for quilting. It is easy to use and has some lovely decorative stitches. I am still experimenting as this is my first up grade in 30 years. It rights all the irritations I had with my old machine: drop in bobbin, less tangling; horizontal spool for cross-threaded spun threads so no snagging or tangling; truly adjustable speed on both foot and machine; on/off button to give constant speed for free-style quilting, to name just a few. It does, however, periodically have a glitch and not do what it is supposed to do when changing sewing styles, but that may be operator error. As with all computers turning it off and on and re-selecting resolves this. I do need to practise more to re-affirm this is the case and not operator error. Notwithstanding this, I would still buy it again.
Excellent machine
Once used to a different threading technique it is a good machine. Good information on computer screen which tells you which foot to use etc. I like the fact you can wind a bobbin from the threaded needle and a simple button to cut threads. Brilliant.
