    Choose the right accessory

    • Check CM or DX/SDX: cutting and scanning mats are specific to the machine range and are not interchangeable.
    • Match the blade and holder: standard, thin-fabric, vinyl and rotary blades use the appropriate matching holders. Check whether a listing supplies a blade, holder or complete kit.
    • Choose the right mat: low-tack mats suit delicate paper, while standard-tack and fabric mats suit different materials. Scanning mats are for scanning, not cutting.
    • Check kit requirements: some design collections and creative functions need a starter kit, CanvasWorkspace account, internet access or compatible computer software.
