How Does a Three-Position Sewing Cabinet Lift Work?
Short answer: the lift places your sewing machine at three useful heights. At the top you can use the free arm. At the middle position the machine bed lines up with the surrounding worktop. At the bottom the machine is stored below the surface so the table can be used for other work.
Why does that matter?
The flat-bed setting supports fabric as it moves past the needle, especially for bigger projects. The upper position makes sleeves and cuffs easier. Lowering the machine helps keep the room tidy between sessions. A correctly sized insert around your machine is part of getting a genuinely level sewing surface.
