Which Sewing Cabinet Gives More Room for Quilting?
Look for fabric support around and behind the needle. A machine that sits flat with the table helps, but the size and shape of the worktop are just as important when you are moving a quilt.
Which cabinet gives me more room?
The Rose has a rear leaf that adds about 50 cm of depth. The Lavender opens two leaves to a worktop nearly 1.9 m wide. The Sage is the largest work surface in our own cabinet range and can take a rear quilt-table extension. The best choice depends on your machine, room and whether you need width or depth most.
Measure your available floor space with the cabinet fully open, then check the machine opening and insert. For a large project, leave room for the fabric behind the machine as well as space for your chair. Explore our cabinet buying guide or ask Fabric Mouse to compare the models with you.
