Start with the job: replacing a fastening, repairing a seam or reinforcing a worn area. Match the replacement’s size, colour and fixing method to the original, and choose needles and thread suited to the fabric. Check each listing for dimensions, pack quantities and application instructions before ordering.
How do I choose sewing notions that fit?
Check the needle system and size for your machine, and the exact bobbin type when replacing empty bobbins. For elastic, binding and zips, compare the width, length and construction with your pattern or existing garment. A similar appearance does not guarantee the same fit.
