To start with the basic knowledge, batik is a method of wax-resist dyeing applied to the entire cloth. Batik can be done using different kinds of dye and wax on silk, cotton, and some other natural fabrics. These Hoffmann bali pops are 100% cotton and dyed by hand in Bali. The fabric strips are then cut using the laser-guided fabric cutter. Who doesn’t love Hoffman Bali Pops!
I can’t remember what I was browsing for when I came across an image of a Bargello quilt. I’d never done any patchwork quilting before, but I just had to make one. Just use the strips in the order they come, and you can’t go wrong. My first purchase was for the Mineral pack, the second was Gems.
