The Brother CV3440 is a dedicated coverstitch machine for hems, necklines and garment finishing. Choose narrow, wide or triple-needle cover stitches, or use chain stitch for a single line of stitching.

Room to guide your fabric

The 155 mm workspace and free arm help you handle garment panels and tubular sections. Differential feed and adjustable presser-foot pressure let you fine-tune how your fabric feeds.

Straightforward setup

Colour-coded guides support manual threading, and thread-tension release helps when removing your work. The CV3440 makes single-sided cover stitches; choose the CV3550 if you also want top-cover stitching.

This machine complements an overlocker: it does not trim fabric edges or sew an overlocked seam.
