How to use the Gathering foot:

  1. Set your machine to the straight stitch.
  2. Set your thread tension to 3-6, the stitch length above 3 and the width to 0.
  3. Sew on one layer of fabric while ensuring it is fed straight.
  4. Do not pull the fabric.
