How do you measure a zip? Start measuring from the actual zip bit that you pull (not the top of the zip) all the way down to the end. You can find the measurements on the puller. 

How to sew a zipper? This depends on what you sewing and whether it is lined or not. If you would like to attend a class here in Brompton on Swale please give us a call and we can arrange this for you.

Can you sew over a zip? Yes but sew slowly so you you break your sewing machine needle. Hand crank it if it is a metal zip!
